Gwendolyn Oh

Gwendolyn Oh is an Associate in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice of Cavenagh Law LLP.

Gwendolyn has broad experience in regulatory investigations, international arbitration and litigation.

Gwendolyn's areas of expertise include complex, cross-border commercial disputes and financial regulatory enforcement matters. She also advises on data privacy and wider technology risk management issues.

Gwendolyn graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) from the National University of Singapore and a Master of Laws in International Financial Law (Distinction) from King's College London. She formerly served as a Justices' Law Clerk in the Supreme Court of Singapore.

  • A global healthcare technology company on an investigation into allegations of bribery, corruption and bid-rigging in Malaysia.
  • A global technology company on an extensive investigation and criminal prosecution by multiple Indian regulatory authorities into allegations of money laundering and corporate fraud.
  • Various global financial and technology corporations in relation to due diligence, compliance, financial crime and technology risks.

Litigation and Arbitration

  • An investment advisory company in a complex joint venture dispute before the courts of Singapore and the British Virgin Islands, as well as in an SIAC arbitration, with claims in excess of USD 60 million.
  • A global data centre infrastructure provider in the Singapore courts in relation to contractual claims valued in excess of USD 30 million.
  • A major investment bank on its data privacy and banking secrecy obligations under Singapore law in connection with proceedings before the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
